1. Start from the flow, not the area
Think about the path of the goods: where they come in, how they are stored, how they ship out. A small but well-thought-out warehouse works better than a big one with tangled routes.
2. Eaves height
The height depends on the racking system and the forklifts you use. We build warehouses with eaves heights between 3 and 21 m. A higher building lets you have more racking levels on the same floor area.
3. Span with no columns
With clear spans of up to 30 m, forklifts and trucks manoeuvre without obstacles, and racking is laid out by the flow of goods, not by columns.
4. Doors, windows and floor
The number and height of sectional doors depend on how many trucks you load at once. The industrial floor is chosen by the weight of the racking and the forklift traffic, and PIR sandwich panels provide the insulation.
5. Build or rent
If you do not want to invest in new construction, we have a 6,000 m² industrial hall, built with PIR sandwich panels near the industrial customs point. It can be divided from 870 m² and used as a warehouse or production hall. It has a manoeuvring area, truck parking and 400 m² of offices.
