Renting an industrial hall: what to check before you sign

Published: · 5 min read

The right rent is not only the price per square metre. Here is what to check before you choose an industrial space.

1. Area and subdivision

Check whether you can rent exactly what you need. For example, our 6,000 m² hall near the industrial customs in Chișinău can be subdivided from 870 m².

2. Access and manoeuvring

For warehouses, manoeuvring space and truck parking matter, as does gate height. Without them, logistics becomes a daily problem.

3. Height and floor

Eaves height decides how you stack, and the industrial floor must carry forklifts and the weight of the goods.

4. Utilities and offices

Ask about power, water, heating and offices. The 6,000 m² hall has 400 m² of offices.

5. The building matters

A correctly built hall with PIR sandwich panels costs less to heat and maintain. See the available space on the rental page.
